Record-breaking results in the joint auction of the three branches

          AEA Kaohsiung Branch worked with the Kaohsiung District Prosecutors’ Office and the Taiwan Ciaotou District Prosecutors’ Office for the first time to hold the "2019 Joint Auction of the Three Branches in the Harbor City" in the afternoon of May 7, 2019. The Chief Prosecutor of the Kaohsiung Branch, Taiwan High Prosecutors Office Jyh-Yeu, Yang, the Director-general of the Administrative Enforcement Agency of the Ministry of Justice, Ching-Tsung, Lin, the Chief Prosecutor of Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office, Chang-Chin, Chou and the Chief Prosecutor of the Ciaotou District Prosecutors’ Office, Jung-Sung, Chuang were all present at the auction to provide instructions on-site. Before the official start of the joint auction, the Chief Prosecutor the procurator Jyh-Yeu, Yang and the Director-general Ching-Tsung, Lin hosted the opening ceremony on behalf of the prosecutors’ offices and the enforcement agency. Many people were waiting in line before the beginning of the auction, and several journalists from different media outfits  also waited to report this event. Kaohsiung District Court and the Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office also arranged the intern judges to visit the joint auction and observed and studied on-site.

          The final bid from the tanker seized by the Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office in the Joint Auction of the Three Branches was 2,400,000 NTD; the final bid from the mining machinery seized by the Ciaotou District Prosecutors Office was 1,526,300; The final bid of the total real properties auctioned by the Kaohsiung Branch were: 15,792,788 NTD for two lands; the final bid of the total personal properties auctioned by the Kaohsiung Branch were: 255,000 NTD for 6 automobiles and motorcycles and 298,837 NTD for other 9 categories of personal properties. The total amount from the final bid of this auction was 16,346,625 NTD.
