The performance of the Administrative Enforcement Agency Branches (Branches thereinafter) is so brilliant that the accumulative sum received in 2008 broke NT$160 billion and in May 2009 broke NT$ 180 billion (NT$ 180,084,239,137). Despite the global financial tsunami and the national recession, the enforcers still earned NT$ 20 billion in the past 9 months for the Treasury through full-hearted and active enforcement regardless of adversity. The Branches established on January 1st 2001 have been dedicating all efforts to the construction and improvement concerning systems and institutions in compliance with the Government Reform. In addition to the required conformity to the fairness, rationality and proportion principle, Business Operation is introduced to build a new business office by adopting the Objective Management and Performance Assessment to promote the business policy. At this rate, with the high professionalism and high efficiency of business promotion, the model of a government with high efficiency is expected to be achieved. Moreover, due to the central financial difficulty, the budget shortage makes us simplify the manpower by the effective employment of aided manpower including the Substitute Services draftees, outsourcing personnel, volunteers and assigned personnel of the competent offices. The 13 Branches affiliated with the Administrative Enforcement Agency have been adopting adequate protocol concerning enforcement in accordance with case categories thereof in terms of enforced administrative rights and civil convenience. For instance, in June 2008, the money receivable less than NT$ 20,000 of the administrative enforced payment including the individual income tax, business tax and local tax commissioned to convenient stores for the substitute reception of collection advances the rate of self payment. The measures concerned have obtained material achievements.
