An obligor, Mr. Yang, has a late consolidated income tax of 1,777.8 million for year 2005. Although Administrative Enforcement Agency made a lot of effort on this case, they discovered that this obligor had invested his funds in operating some third-party corporations and businesses. Accordingly, Administrative Enforcement Agency can no longer find out any extra financial sources from him in terms of repaying his tax. Additionally, Yang is repeatedly absent when summoning him to the agency. He firmly disclaimed what he had owed and had been very stubborn. With the active investigation and well-prepared concrete evidence from the agency, Yang was eventually arrested to the case with a warrant on January 11, 2017 and taken into custody after the approval from Taiwan Taipei District Court. Hopefully, this obligor may pay the tax because of the coming of the traditional Chinese new year.
