To enhance the quality of services, save visitors’ money, and avoid the inconvenience from the long distance of travel, several government agencies and units jointly organized a grand opening for “The Automatic Inquiry System of Highway Supervision and Joint Webcam Services System,” including Kaohsiung City Motor Vehicles office, Penghu District Prosecutors Office, National Taxation Bureau of the Southern Area, Local Tax Bureau, Penghu County, and Wangan Township Hall. In the future, video and face-to-face inquiring services are available for the locals from this township and Penghu area. These services are time-saving, convenient, and safe. The grand opening ceremony was hosted by the previous director-general of Administrative Enforcement Agency, Qing-Yun Zhang, the branch director of Kaohsiung City Motor Vehicles office, Qi-Cheng Dong, the chief prosecutor of Penghu District Court, Jun-Li Wang, the director of Kaohsiung Branch of Administrative Enforcement Agency, Cai-Xiu Huang, National Taxation Bureau of the Southern Area, Ling-Guan Qiu, the director of Local Tax Bureau, Penghu County, Qi-You Zheng, and the township mayor of Wangan Township Hall. In this event, there were approximately 200 local citizens joining this grand opening ceremony. According a spokesman from Kaoxiung Branch of Administrative Enforcement Agency, to provide services for residents in the partial area and practice the concept of “The convenience of the Internet (wang lu in Mandarin) can replace the convenience of roads (ma ru in Mandarin).” Currently, the video and face-to-face inquiring services are available at Wangan Township Hall, Cieding District Office, Alian District Office, Neimen District Office, and Namasia District Office. All the video devices are equipped and ready for the locals. By doing so, the user behaviors of relying physical face-to-face services can be changed by enhancing and promoting the Internet video inquiring services. In addition, these changes can fulfill the principles of Administrative Enforcement Agency, Ministry of Justice that administration should be based on caring of the public with no obstacles of collecting payments from the public. It was just one day before the grand opening ceremony. The previous director-general of Administrative Enforcement Agency, Zhang, visited the chief prosecutor of Penghu District Prosecutors Office, Wang, for discussing the new regulation of “criminal confiscation” released on Julst 1. Two of them had agreement on how to cooperate with each other and reached a consensus.
