Buying sentiment heats up in summer vacation months, with auction amount reaching NT$58 million. The AEA branches across the country held joint auctions on July 3, offering a great variety of items for interested people to bid on. The total auction amount reached NT$58,353,911, sustaining the good results of previous auctions. Real estate items auctioned off this time included: a staff dormitory of the KMT party on Jiaxing Street, Xinyi District, Taipei City, which the Taipei branch auctioned off for NT$15.26 million; a plot of land owned by an obligor surnamed Chang in the Ankeng section of Xindian District, New Taipei City, which the Taipei branch auctioned off for NT$13.36 million; a house and the lot of land it is located on on Chenggong Road, Sanchong District, New Taipei City, which the New Taipei branch auctioned off for NT$4.33 million; a piece of land on Jianxing Road, Longtan District, Taoyuan City, which the Taoyuan branch auctioned off for NT$1.92 million; a house on Boquan 2nd Street, West District, Taichung City, which the Taichung branch auctioned off for NT$4.27 million; a piece of land in the Fenglin section of Xiaogang District, Kaohsiung City, which the Kaohsiung branch auctioned off for NT$1.86 million; a house and the lot of land it is located on in Jiaoxi Township, Yilan County, which the Ylan branch auctioned off for NT$4.16 million. The total real estate auction amount this time was NT$53,954,577, quite an outstanding result. In addition, movable properties auctioned off by the AEA branches reached NT$43,99,344. They included coral ornaments and Kaoliang liquor that the Taipei branch auctioned off for NT$380,000, a Volkswagen sedan that the Shihlin branch auctioned off for NT390,000, a Lexus sedan that the Taoyuan branch auctioned off for around NT$830,000, a total of 17 sedans, gravel trucks, cargo trucks and excavators that the Taichung branch auctioned off for around NT$1.77 million. and a Suzuki sedan that the Kaohsiung branch auctioned off for around NT$220,000. There were other items such as clothing, wooden sculptures, butterflyshaped crude ore, handmade bread and handbags. People participating in the auctions were happy about the bargain sales. The auctions also helped the government collect more taxes and receive more fees.
